It's hard to believe, when I look at all these shots, how deeply tied together these landscapes are. On these two trips, I limited myself to just my 35mm. Playing with composition and the exposure triangle against the brightest blues of the ocean was a fun challenge, but it also reminded me how the way we frame our experiences can make them seem at once so similar and so exotic. Albania wasn't a place I'd ever thought I'd travel to, but its landscape and culture blew me away. As its stunning riviera grows more popular, I wanted to capture these shots of nature and water to remind us all that unspoiled coast is the best treasure any nation can have.
