The story

It's hard to believe, when I look at all these shots, how deeply tied together these landscapes are. On these two trips, I limited myself to just my 35mm. Playing with composition and the exposure triangle against the brightest blues of the ocean was a fun challenge, but it also reminded me how the way we frame our experiences can make them seem at once so similar and so exotic. Focusing on the blues, I wanted to tell a story about how land that is preserved and respected can awe us deeply, offering vistas that are priceless beyond belief. protected and developed across its long length, and as someone who grew up in the developed region, I thought the only place to see water like this was Greece. Albania wasn't a place I'd ever thought I'd travel to, but its landscape and culture blew me away. As its stunning riviera grows more popular, I wanted to capture these shots of nature and water to remind us all that unspoiled coast is the best treasure any nation can have. (Wine is good too, though)
